Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that alters or corrects the shape of the nose for aesthetic and/or functional reasons. Classic rhinoplasty techniques have evolved to alter the size, shape, and structure of the nose, but can sometimes result in tissue damage, longer recovery times, and unpredictable results.

Tailored Rhinoplastyㅤ is a concept that redefines nasal surgery, offering a truly personalized approach to each patient.

It begins with an in-depth consultation, during which the patient’s unique facial anatomy and desired outcomes are carefully discussed. During this consultation, a computer-based simulation of the proposed final result is performed, allowing patients to gain an idea of how their nose may look. Every detail is measured and planned with millimetric precision.

This high level of personalization ensures that the procedure is aligned with each patient’s specific needs and aesthetic preferences.

To achieve the best and most natural results with minimal trauma, ultrasonic rhinoplasty is used within the Tailored Rhinoplastyㅤconcept. This technique uses high-frequency vibrations to precisely cut and reshape bone without breaking it, minimizing damage to the surrounding tissues.

The result is less bleeding, reduced swelling, and faster recovery times. The millimetric adjustments enabled by ultrasonic technology allow the surgeon to achieve exceptional precision, resulting in a natural, long-lasting and highly refined outcome.

By combining personalized planning with ultrasonic technology, Tailored Rhinoplastyㅤ offers a comprehensive solution, delivering improved outcomes and a smoother recovery experience for those seeking a highly personalized and minimally invasive rhinoplasty.

Depending on the complexity of the case and the area of the nose to be treated, Rhinoplasty can be performed via two approaches. There are two main surgical techniques: a closed approach, in which the scars are located only inside the nose, or an open approach, in which, in addition to the internal scars, a minimal incision is also made in the lower portion of the nose, between the two nostrils, which becomes practically imperceptible after surgery.

The open approach is typically used in more complex cases and when the tip and middle third of the nose require more demanding work. Post-operative pain after rhinoplasty is minimal and perfectly controllable with mild medication.

When the patient presents, in addition to aesthetic concerns and/or nasal obstruction, complaints consistent with rhinitis/sinusitis (frequent nasal discharge, decreased sense of smell, facial pain or headaches, sneezing fits), these can and should be treated simultaneously.

Treatment can be done with medication or, when these are insufficient, surgically (during the same surgical procedure as rhinoplasty). The nose will always be evaluated from a holistic perspective.
